Glutathione 1500mg

Glutathione 1500mg

$105.00

Glutathione (GSH) is the body’s master antioxidant — a tripeptide (Gamma-Glutamyl-Cysteinyl-Glycine) produced in every cell and central to oxidative stress defence, detoxification, and immune function. At X-Fuel’s 1500mg vial size, this is a high-dose format designed for serious research and performance protocols. Oral glutathione has notoriously poor bioavailability due to GI breakdown. The injectable format bypasses this limitation entirely — delivering GSH directly into circulation. Athletes, biohackers, and longevity researchers are increasingly using injectable glutathione for recovery optimisation, skin health, and liver support.

Glutathione 1500mg — Ultra-Purity Research Grade

What Is Glutathione?

Glutathione (GSH) is a tripeptide composed of three amino acids: glutamate, cysteine, and glycine (γ-Glu-Cys-Gly). It is synthesised in virtually every cell in the human body and is the most abundant intracellular antioxidant. Glutathione exists in two forms: reduced (GSH, the active antioxidant form) and oxidised (GSSG), with the ratio of GSH to GSSG serving as a key indicator of cellular oxidative stress.

Levels decline with age, heavy exercise, alcohol consumption, chronic illness, and environmental toxin exposure. This has made glutathione repletion a target in fields ranging from sports medicine and aesthetics to oncology support and liver disease research.

X-Fuel Glutathione is supplied at 1500mg per vial — the highest single-vial dose in the X-Fuel lineup — in ultra-purity research-grade lyophilised form.

Why the Community Uses It

Antioxidant Defence & Recovery

Hard training generates significant reactive oxygen species (ROS). Glutathione is the primary intracellular quencher of these species — protecting cellular structures from oxidative damage. Athletes using injectable glutathione often report faster recovery, reduced muscle soreness, and improved training consistency.

Liver Support & Detoxification

The liver contains the highest concentrations of glutathione in the body. GSH is central to Phase II liver detoxification — conjugating reactive intermediates for excretion. This makes it highly relevant to individuals running anabolic compounds, peptide stacks, and other substances that increase hepatic processing load.

Skin Brightening & Aesthetics

Glutathione’s role in melanin synthesis inhibition — through downregulation of tyrosinase enzyme activity — has made it one of the most widely used compounds in aesthetic medicine for skin tone improvement. This application is particularly prominent in Southeast Asia and increasingly mainstream in North American aesthetics communities.

Immune Function

GSH is required for T-lymphocyte proliferation and function. Depleted glutathione is associated with immunosuppression, making repletion relevant during high training loads, illness recovery, or stress periods.

Neurological Research

Oxidative stress plays a central role in neurodegenerative disease pathology. Glutathione depletion is observed in Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurological conditions — driving research interest in GSH repletion as a neuroprotective strategy.

The Bioavailability Problem (And Why Injection Matters)

Oral glutathione is largely broken down in the gut before reaching systemic circulation. While liposomal oral formats have improved this to some degree, they still fall significantly short of injectable bioavailability. IV and IM glutathione delivers GSH directly into circulation — bypassing GI degradation entirely. This is the format used in clinical glutathione infusion settings.

Reconstitution & Storage

Reconstitute with sterile or bacteriostatic water. Glutathione is relatively pH-sensitive — it performs best in solutions close to physiological pH. Store unreconstituted at 2–8°C, protected from light. Reconstituted solution degrades faster than most peptides — use within 24–48 hours if refrigerated.

Storage Information

Store lyophilised at 2–8°C, protected from light. Glutathione oxidises readily — reconstituted solution should be used within 24–48 hours. Do not freeze reconstituted solution. Keep away from metal contact.

Usage & Reconstitution

Reconstitute with sterile or bacteriostatic water. The solution will be clear to slightly yellow — some yellowing is normal. IV push and IM are the primary researched administration routes. Vitamin C is frequently co-administered to help maintain glutathione in its reduced (active) form.
